November Employee of the Month


Guess who’s back, back again. Tim is back, back again. We are honored to name Timothy Oberdieck as the November 2019 Employee of the Month.

Tim is from Lanesville, IN.

He is studying towards Majors in Christian Education Leadership and Psychology  as well as a Minor in World and Intercultural Studies.

October 2019 Employee of the Month


He’s new to 10:31, but Joshua Marlatt is doing great things behind the counter! We are glad to have him.

Joshua is from Waconia, MN. He is studying History/Pre-Seminary here at Concordia.

Some fun facts about Joshua include:

1. When I get sad, I like to listen to heavy death metal. I also write my own, please ask me about it.
2. Once, when I was 4, I lost my big toe. Now I have a 3D printed big toe.
3. I only wear hats made in Taiwan.
4. I didn’t get my driver’s license until I was 16 years old!
5. My favorite place on campus is the new cadaver room in the science building. Hope to see you there!

His favorite thing about working at 10:31 is working on Two Punch Tuesday, because it is the best day ever!

February Employee of the Month

This month, our employee of the month is Kim Sleeper. We love having her on the 10:31 team, and we thought it was about time to show our appreciation.

1. I once ate 15 French macarons in one sitting.
2. I have been vegetarian for 7 years.
3. I visited a coffee plantation in Guatemala this past summer.

For our January employee of the month, we are highlighting Dana.

1. I have a freckle on the bottom of my foot.
2. My dad is part of a Christian biker gang.
3. I did a semester exchange to Concordia Ann Arbor last spring.
4. I can’t whistle.
5. When I was 4 I told my mom I wanted to marry a man with “flat eyebrows” and move “someplace rich, like New Jersey”…

Dana is such a great barista, and an even better person and we’re lucky to have her at 10:31.
